Life ~ A Natural Phenomena

Dear Human,

How did you spend today’s life hours ? Did you go with the flow of “life as human”?

Being deeply aware that in about 40 years or so I’m scheduled to leave this body and this realm of existence, I want to experience life as the natural phenomena it is.

Today more than ever I see the temporal yet complex state of being human.

Knowing that in this moment I am physically a time sensitive creature of the cosmos helps me in many ways. For instance, I find that I am a better person. I am simply less focused on what doesn’t matter. I am actively an instrument of love and kindness throughout my day. And if I’m especially in my place of awareness, I see the beautiful in every little thing around me. The clouds as equally as the sun. The cold as much as the warmth. The pain as deeply as the joy. All of these live under the umbrella of the essence of life.

I hope you see this too.

And who knows, maybe I’ll get 50 more years. But then again maybe this will be my last day swinging around the sun on this amazing planet.

So I live in mindfulness as often as I can. Not in my brain. Not routinely. But aware that I am simply passing through this particular reality.

And in this state of awareness I constantly remember you, my human brethren with whom I am forever intrinsically connected. Because of all the beauty that surrounds me, to me, nothing is more beautiful than you.

Love,
Sheri

I started today’s ‘life hours” with a long, relaxing walk on the beach. Nothing but me, the birds, and the surf. What a feeling of inner renewal ! Went to dinner with my girfriend and made a date with her to paint together – she’s an artist. Tomorrow is her 17th birthday. In case you’re wondering, this is Ashley, and she has severe MS. Finished the day sitting at the edge of the beach watching the sun slowly sink below the horion, painting the sky in all the warm shades of red, orange, yellow, purple, and blue. What a Wonderful Day !!!!! ……..XO
