Dear Human,

I guess I have a thing for looking up which always seems to land me lying on a bench somewhere.

It’s a curious thing to watch the sky during the day and know that there are millions of stars and galaxies surrounding me. They are everywhere all around me. Right now I can’t see them. But they are there. I know this as much as I know that I am typing this letter to you.

And with this knowledge I can’t help but suspect that all the other things I can’t see right now but can imagine do indeed exist. Like God and souls for instance. Maybe they too are surrounding me like the rest of the universe that is hidden by the suns bright light.

It does not seem rational that we just make things up from nothing. Reasoning would dictate that what we understand as a possibility must be a possibility. Imagination has to come from somewhere, perhaps some sort of memory or remembering.
I don’t know exactly how it works. Furthermore, neither does anyone. But just perhaps everything that I suspect exists does indeed exist.

So where does this leave me?

Lying on a bench under a tree, imagining all of the possibilities of all of eternity. It’s a pretty amazing place to be.

Love, Sheri

Very nice post. I find it interesting that so many will drive a position that we just exist in the moment of today and tomorrow we are just gone. When in fact there is so much more to this life. Our thoughts, our feelings, our souls are not just minor things that evolved from nothing. They are something and we owe it to ourselves to grasp its meaning. If it took someone to put everything we see and feel in motion, then it should be good to grasp just who could have done it!

What are your thoughts about this?
