Deep down inside you know that you are not the first nor will you be the last to experience suffering and pain.
But there is something else you should know. The truth is if YOU didn’t assign meaning to the arrows of negativity shot at you … they wouldn’t hurt. At least not as long as they tend to.
Learning to let go, ignore ignorance, and forgive immaturity is the first step to suffering less. But ultimately, consciously selecting which words and actions have meaning or possess actual substance will allow you to look objectively at life and not feel personally attacked.
