PERSONAL WARS

Dear Human,

You think everyone sees yours scars the same way you do. You think they are bigger than they actually are. You feel like you are unable to be seen without someone first seeing your flaws. And so you wear them like the victim of the incident that you once were.

But most people don’t zoom into your imperfections the way you do. Good people, the ones you want to know and be known by, tend to be more gracious towards you than you are toward yourself.

Life is to short to live with inner conflict.

It’s more important to spend your now moments focusing on your strengths and beauty instead of your flaws and imperfections.

Don’t be at war with yourself my beloveds. Know who you are and what you stand for; scars, flaws, imperfections and all. Then stand tall.

Love,
Sheri

I’m often at war with myself. For really stupid and silly stuff, but you’re right… I should make a peace treaty with myself and stop it. 🙂

  3. Thank you for posting this… I want very desperately to understand how it’s possible; is it possible for everyone, regardless of their situation? Please, please tell me how to stop. It is killing me. My email is theusedmisfit at hotmail (dot) com… if you can help me, or explain how to make my mind stop self destructing… sorry to come so negatively; i am just in dire need of someone to give me some idea of how to escape myself hatred… whether or not you can reply…either way, thanks for the post. blessings.
